Haven't made fresh sausage in awhile. Think I'll stuff some Kielbasa, Brauts, and Italian sausage for the grill with some sauerkraut and green peppers and onions on the side. Can't forget the corn on the cob swimming in butter and the wife's baked beans. Woah, look out after that meal.

Went to their website. 6mo on a 20lb bag of charcoal? Keeps meats moist without a water pan? Pretty amazing! How is it as a smoker?

I buy qty 2, 22# bags of lump charcoal and it lasts me a full year. After cooking I open the vents and let it get to 700 degrees (less than 5 minutes) and then shut it all down. All the nasties and dripped fat is burned off so it doesn't get gross. Outstanding as a smoker and everything else, too. Hard to find used because nobody gives them up. My friend found one at an estate sale because the owner DIED. I get my charcoal here, it's the very best: http://www.wickedgoodcharcoal.com/
