10-Year old daughter rule
I like this rule found at the Texas CHL Forum:
Also, this is a "G" rated forum; please don't use any language (or substitutes like @#%$& or abbreviations) that you wouldn't want someone to use in front of your 10 year old daughter. We want to encourage women (thus the Ladies Forum) and young people to educate themselves about lawful use of firearms, including the use of firearms in self-defense. That goal is furthered by avoiding language that many may find offensive. They call it the 10-year old daughter rule. |

Although, I must confess, in a moment of weakness I may have said @#%$& once or twice in front of my daughter.  Not 'til she was 20, though! |
