You read stuff like this and realize this is exactly how sharks like John Edwards can afford to build 28,000 square-foot homes and have $400 haircuts. Tort reform, anyone?

I wouldn't spend more than $100 on a pair of pants no matter how much cash I had.

I heard this on the radio today and I kinda laughed, trying to stay positive that our country actually isn't going down the tube because of jerks like this guy.

100? Jeeez. Unless the pants are a part of a suit, I've never considered dropping 100 on pants. Most of mine range from 20~40 dollars.

My hope would be: the case would be dismissed with prejudice (so he can't refile), the Chungs would be awarded attorney fees and punitive damages for a spurious law suit and finally, Pearson be removed from the bench and an investigation begun by the ABA so he could be disbarred.

This whole thing reminds me of an lawyer joke: Did you hear about the terrorists holding 100 lawyers on an airplane. They are demanding 5 million dollars or they will release the lawyers.

This retarded judge is a good example of the reason so many retarded judgments come out of the east coast. He's an idiot and should be hung from the Liberty Tree by his toes for at least 3 days and then tarred and feathered and rode out of town on a rail for being a moron screwing with people's lives.

Yes, because the court systems of California, Oregon, and Washington are so level headed...

Tort reform is my biggest electoral issue these days.

He knows he isn't going to get that kind of money. He just wants to ruin these buisness owners' lives for as long as he can drag it out.

Karma is a bitch and he's about to get a big dose of it...

He is apparently up for review and a panel of judges are about to approve/reject his next 10 year appointment to the bench. I hope they kick his butt to the curb...

technically I only own one pair of pants. Being in AZ its shorts as much as possible for me. However I felt I needed to leave room for a fancy suite in case I ever get rich enough to need a pair!
