took the mountain bike out

Finally had good weather. It was pretty fun. I tore up the bridal trails since I didn't see any park rangers(no bikes on bridals). The real mountain bike parks are about an hour away, so I sneak and ride the bridals. I realized I'm waaay out of shape. The hills were killer. I hope to get back into shape and get my cardio on track. Hopefully Ican lose about 40 lbs in the process. I need new forks and a better derailer though. I'm pretty happy with the bike though.

I've been anxious to get mine out, but I am in the process of moving from PA to WI, between that and work I haven't really had time. I hope after I get moved I have time to get it out.

Careful about riding bridal trails. Horse riders and hikers are like anti's, they're always looking for an excuse to shutdown trails to "those crazy kids on bicycles". IMBA has been fighting that stuff for years, saying we are responsible and abide by trail rules. Anyway, glad you got out. I wish I had more trails here, but that gets back to my first point.
