JD, I'm assuming the washer is out of warranty? If you have the same issue you had with the same washer or one of the same make/model that was replaced you might want to contact the manufacturer and give em hell.
They should repair your washer "no charge".
I buy cheapie appliances. Appliances are pretty much built-in obsolescence. I've bought cheapies that have lasted me as long or longer than some top of the line products I've owned. It's never really benefited me to spend extra money for them.
Also, I never purchase service agreements for appliances anymore. Those have been a waste of money in my experience.
