AK- How much would you say its worth?

I had a trade offer made to me for this AK, what would you say this AK is worth by itself excluding all the stuff with it? I would like to know what any Pros and cons about it and then would liek to know what you think this whole package together is worth?

"Polytech post-ban AK These are somewhat unusual as they were part of a batch that got hung up in customs while the initial ban law went into efffect. After several years worth of lawsuits they got them released for sale. It has a 1.5mm stamped reciever and is built hell-for-stout. It currently has a Desert folder mounted and may need a few more parts changed (american fire control group would do it) to meet compliance--buyer would be responsible to do the research to ensure this weapon meets ATF requirements. It would come with 8 30 round mags and 600 rounds of Wolf FMJ and 300 Yugo Training rounds (they suck bad, but I'm throwing them in). Also included is a holo-sight mounted to a second receiver cover, tactical harness/sling and all the old stock parts and a black padded AR case with magazine pouches?

With all the extra's I'd say about $1000.00 - $1500. Here's a link with the info http://ak-47.net/ak47/polytech.html.
If you want another AK, I'd say sell it or trade it and get a Saiga converted by Red Stick or Tromix.

The info in that link is very dated. Post-ban polys sell for half that nowdays.

Here is some current prices through Gun Broker and it is fairly accurate given the extras. I was factoring in all the upgrades and accessories. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchResults.asp

You can't post a gunbroker search like that. There are no search terms.

He asked for the value of the rifle alone, and a post-ban thumb-hole poly is worth around $600 in good condition. Pre-bans sell for more.

Example: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...?Item=67988316

Ok. do a search for Poly Tech on gunbroker.com. Returns $629.95-1,999.99. Guns alone.
AKM, just trying to help. Thanks for your correction though.
Am I ruining a deal you were trying to get? HeHe

If he were to trade you straight across for the wheels I would consider it. I think everyone should own at least one good AK or SKS with an AR.

Need more info/better pics to tell. the ammo and mags[depending on who made them] only really adds about $100 to the pot.

Norinco shows up on some Polytechs, which factory did it come from, which model, whats missing.....$450-$1000+ depending on what it is, even more with original furniture...that 'crapco' furniture adds 0 value. His 922 disclaimer is a joke, and illegal......
