My father just picked up a TLR2, and I love the thing. He put it on his AR15 so he could see coyotes in our yard. They are always attacking our sheep. We got the lazer lined up with an eotech so they both hit poa at 50-60 yards. The light is bright enough to see the difference between a sheep and coyote at that distance. Sorry if this makes you want it more. I sure like the thing and it can easily be switched from your handgun to a long gun. If you don't need the lazer then the TLR1 is one sweet light. I think you should save up. just my .02
