CCW holder names publish...made CNN tonite.
It's 8:30 and CNN has been on in the background...the big mess of CCW's names bein published made a segment on CNN Paula Zahn's show...
Then they had a "panel" of people to discuss it.... they made the point of how it made many people's lives in danger since they wanted to remain hidden from ex lovers/predators. Then they had a parole officer that said he has had ex parolees showin up at his house!!! They showed a clip of him gettin ready for a day at work....puttin on his suit and his XD..I noticed the grip safety on it. If anyone would for me....see if you can find it on CNN's website....I have a really really slow connection. I didn't mean to start another flame war thread....just found it strange to hear about such a thing on CNN and them actually have an objective look at it. Their "panel" boiled it down to...it's not the paper's fault for publishing such information...it was the governments fault for makin such information part of public records....and the other side of it was it was invasion of privacy...everybody forgettin about how the 2nd ammendmant is just as important as the 1st.

Here's a great quote: LUCY DALGLISH, REPORTERS COMMITTEE FOR FREEDOM OF THE PRESS: "Who is licensed and who is given a privilege in this country by a government body is information that the public should be able to have. " A "PRIVILEGE"?! It's not a privilege, it's f***ing CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT! Man, sh!t like this makes me sick!

It's dumb comments like that, that really burn my rear. Who are they to tell me what my privelages are? It's in black and white what my RIGHT is or is not.
The big brother 'allowing' us to do this or that stinks.....it's suppose to be the other way around....us giving them the privilage to sit there and judge. All I know to say is that something's gotta give eventually, and it's not gonna be pretty when it does.
