Night Vision Manufacturer Fined $100m for Illegal Exports

Check it out at CNN.

DoD put the smackdown on this company - bastards were exporting classified and sensitive technical data to China, Singapore and the UK. I'd presume it was schematics of the types of night vision US soldiers are equipped with.

That finds its way in the hands of terrorists and our already under-equipped soldiers are put in further risk of harm.

They should be put out of business.

i can almost cut them some slack for the UK. but i have a feeling that there are a lot more leaks coming out of there than other places. there is no excuse for China or Singapore.

hopefully its just mismanagement, used to work for them in DoD contracting. the serious folks keep the important stuff secure. our best friends are the most notorious for keeping an eye on our technology. Israel and France among them.

DUDE, I'm from C'ville too. I actually live in Euharlee at the moment but I was born at Cartersville Medical Center and went to Cartersville from kindergarten to graduation.
