Ok... some gun choice advice needed...

Ok... My Birthday is in 2 days... I asked my dad for a gun specifically a Savage .22 LR auto for plinking when I cant afford real ammo. I think he is just going to give me a lump of money so I can just go pick somthing out myself.... I was thinking though... I may be able to get somthing else maybe?? I want to build my collection... so far I have a S&W 442 snubby and an XD40-SC OD. What else should I get.... so many possiblilies..... I was also thinking, maybe a Mossberg 500 cruiser??? What do you all think??

Hard to say what you should get next a lot of the decision is personal. How much money is your dad going to give you? Once you know how much then you can start shopping.

If you don't own a .22 caliber rifle I would consider one lot of fun and cheap to shoot. Shotguns are good the Moss cruiser would be good for Home Defense. You could save up and buy and AR or AK; an AK will run about the same as the Mossy. Not knowing much about Northern Kentucky I would lean toward the AK/AR or .22. Hope it helps.

Every collection needs at least one good .22 rifle.

.22!

cant go wrong with a good .22. Try the ruger 10/22 its customizable out the wazoo. If u start building one up, u'll definitely catch the custom rimfire disease. cheap shooting too!

i need to get a more modern one. the only .22 rifle i have is a winchest model 61 (1940's???). a bolt action rifle of some sort would also be a good addition.

Good choice. I took my Ruger 10/22 to the range just yesterday to shoot. It's affordable and fun.

Ruger 10/22. I shoot mine far more than any of my other guns. I think the only stock part left on it is the bolt
