The low Down on South Carolina

Friends and I vacation in Myrtle Beach, SC several times during the year. Will someone who knows where SC stands on accepting other states CCL let me know. I have checked a few sites this morning but I would like it in plain English rather than legal talk.

Go to http://www.packing.org. They have reciprocity maps for each state.

What's SC problem????? They accept only a handful of states CCL while most states will take theirs. Their process is not more stregent than what I did in Kentucky, what's their problem??

Many liberal states are like that. Texas accepts a lot of other state's Concelaed licenses, while only red states take ours.

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle

What's South Carolina's Problem?

Everyone in S.C. is allowed to have a loaded weapon discreetly tucked away in their vehicle (under the seat, center consol, or glove box). You may dicreetly carry it to your hotel room and keep it there.

That only leaves eating at resturants, clubbing and the beach.

It may be legal for recipricals to conceal carry at the beach ( it might be fun watching some people try). Most resturants, or attractions have "No Weapons" notices, and if they serve alcohol, it's a no-no anyway.
