Tip your gunsmith?

Just a quick question, do you guys tip your gunsmith? If so, what is the "right" tip?

Depends on how much he charges initially. I've had some smiths charge more than I thought they should, and I've had others try to get away with working on my gun for free.

A gunsmith sets his own prices, I dont see any need to tip them since they themselves have determined their worth and priced work accordingly. Maybe Im a cheap bastard but when I pay thousands for them to build a gun, its hard to see the need to pay above and beyond.

Why? They set their total price for work done.

Not if they own the business, if they are working for someone else....yes
How much depends on what was done(usually enough for lunch)
