In all likely hood, I will still purchase the XD and try Wild Bill Holsters to finish out the "gear".
Now, as for the Mag Helper for reloading the mags .. any suggestions on that venue?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I think you can buy the mag loader by itself (I know you can buy some of the other gear...)

If you have a .45 send me SASE, I send you speed loader, we don't use it.

I'm a lefty and have never used the holster (just got my lefty holster today, so I'll try it soon). My wife uses the the mag loader all the time, and if it makes it so she will come shooting with me, the so be it. The bore brush is great. I always use it to clean my baby. I have never used the mag holder. The case it came with is pretty usefull too, for now. At some point I may stop using it though (I want a Pelican case).

I think that I will use the XD gear holster at the range or out shooting in the desert, but for CC I will use the Crossbreed SOB that I ordered (if it ever gets here ).

Yes, the XD Gear holster is awful... I forgot my Blade-Tech at this past weekend's USPSA match and had to use the XD Gear one (so I am glad that it came with one and that mine is always in the case). The bore brush that came with my XD-40 is also trash, the plastic bristles don't really seem to loosen much up. I switched to a cheapo metal one from Wally World, which seems to do the trick. As for the speedloader, I picked up http://www.pistolgear.com/proddetail...d=48HSA&cat=15 and it works much better than the XD Gear one.

Just wanted to mention that a lot of people sell their XD gear holster, mag holder, and loader on ebay. The holsters sell for $5 to $10 apiece, the mag holder and loader go between $10 to $20 apiece.

i like my holster and mag holder...dont use the loader cause my thumbs aren't weak (jk to you weak thumb people ).

i only use the holster for when we take the quads out to the trails to go shooting. NV is open carry so its all good with the XD holster.

it has given my X9 the worn look but its ok.

The XD Gear holsters are perfect for mounting to bed rails, safe doors or just about any place you want to have a pistol at the ready.

I use the holster and loan it out to friends when we go to the range. I have 2 XD's so it works out great. It's not perfect by any means but for a trip to the range it's great.
