Support hand on Subcompact?

I've followed all the links I could find and watched a few videos that were posted and am still having trouble figuring out the best way to hold my 9sc.
I can't seem to be able to find a comfortable (and accurate) way to place my thumbs.
How are you all holding your subs? Any pics would be awsome. It just seems like I'm smothering the poor thing with my big (skinny) hands and I can't get consistent.

Sounds like you may have seen this already, but here it goes anyway:

D_Fence: Heh, no I somehow missed that thread. Thanks for the link. I really need to learn how to search better or something.

Hwkeye: I just ordered the pearce grip xtensions today. I can barely fit my pinky on the grip as is and with all the praise it's gotten here, there was only one option.

I followed the pictoral instructions (much better than descriptions) and no matter how I adjust my hands, my support thumb rests just under the takedown lever and my trigger thumb rests right on the slide release. This feels comfortable for my hands, but the gun doesn't feel very secure in them and it makes it real hard for me to use the pad of my trigger finger for the pull.
The gun is tight against the web of my trigger hand, but the front of the grip where my fingers are feels kinda loose.
Hopefully my pearce extensions will get here before this weekend. Maybe they'll help with the finger problem.

I am assuming you are right handed. Place the pistol into web of right hand, trigger finger extended along the frame above trigger guard area, wrap remaining three fingers around grip, let little finger curl underneath if necessary. Hold your right thumb straight up, place the meaty part of your left hand (base of thumb) in the space at the end of your right fingertips, hold your left thumb straight up, wrap your left hand fingers around your right hand fingers, allow pinkie to curl under grip if necessary. Now point both thumbs towards the target, left thumb on top of first knuckle of left hand, right thumb on top of left thumb. Squeeze both hands firmly, but not so much as to cause tremor. Should be able to move trigger finger independently now to press trigger. Use only the tip (draw an imaginary line from base of fingernail around the end of your finger) from that line to the tip of finger should be on trigger when shooting, on frame when not shooting. Very solid grip. That is pretty much what Springer shows in his video and what Todd Jarrett shows in his. It may take a while to get used to. Try it with a 16 round mag in your sc.
