I wasn't cuffed and placed inside a police car to be booked and questioned, I had my face slapped by a policeman so hard that it stung for hours and caused a swollen lip, I ran home crying. He followed me there too and had a talk with my parents. Also, when I say slap, I mean full on Isreali bitch slap. If it was my child, I would be greatly angered if he slapped my son, but to process him, I would not. I am starting to feel that I was perhaps very harsh with my children.

I was/am not a physical punishment. I am extremely mental. Opposite of my own Abba. Perhaps this is why I see the punishment fit.

So it is. But I guess the officer had nothing better to do then arrest a 7 year old instead of out busting the real criminals.

I call BS on that! And if it is true, that officer should have lost his job! PERIOD!

Maybe so, but I'm old enough to have a 6 year old granddaughter.

wow, I need to be in federal prison then. I use to ride our 3 wheeler on the street, up and down the alley. I use to drive my go-cart all the time on our street for probably an hour each time.

My nephew, who is 7.. occasionally rides his little motorcycle up and down the alley and up and down the street. it's not a main thru street.. it's a side street with very little traffic.. only local traffic.

Once I was stopped by a female officer when I was bringing the 3 wheeler from around front, to the backyard to put it away after I was doing work on it up front. To do this I had to ride 2 houses down, take a right and go 1 house length, then turn right into the alley. Which meant I had to venture out onto the thru street which is never busy.. driving in the parking lane. She simply informed me that it was against the law and to try and keep it off the streets.

She didn't grab me by the collar and yell at me. she didn't treat me like she was trying to arrest some violent criminal, making our town so much safer by the efforts she made with me. She handled it properly.

If you ask me, the officers in this situation are the ones who were acting like they were 7.

The bad thing for a PD being this anal is that people become reluctant to call in smaller crimes, if they are afraid the cops will over react. If I saw a kid doing this, I would try talking to the parents, if that failed, I would call the cops expecting them to talk to the kids, and realy get on the parent. But I would think twice about calling if the kid would get treated like this.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

I grew up a stone's throw from the Dead Sea. So no BS. Different generation/culture.

I am realizing I may have been harsh.

I am starting to reflect now...
