Lots of fun and difficult to master. I have nothing talented to bring, but they are tons of fun to play with.

I use grommets on the pouch and thread to sew the ends of the cord together. I put a little wax on the thread once the sewing is complete to keep it from raveling. All the materials were purchased from local craft stores or K-Mart. That's the beauty of a sling. They're simple to make from almost any type of material.

The design in the photo takes about an hour or two to make depending on how good of a job I do.
Hello Darth,

Whats the length?

Peace

That is a really great design. When I was a kid we loved it when my dad's work boots wore out because we had leather (the tongue was the best) for slingshots including the leather laces for the slingshot strings. It's pretty amazing how accurate you can get with one, kind of like usng a blowgun and seeing how accurate those are.

What is the range of that sling with the egg you have in there?

Just curious.

I dont have the one in the photo any longer, so I cant measure it to give you a length. I think it was probably around 24" or so.

As far as the distance with the egg....I've never actually slung an egg before. I just wanted to take the photo with something that would give some size perspective. But don't think I havent thought about it.

I have never thrown an egg before but a good sized rock can go beyond 100 yards.

It actually takes a little more than just spinning it around your head until your arm gets tired. Anyways, they are a lot of fun and if you need advice on how to throw, I will try to describe it. jus let me know. I would like to know where you got that one though cause that is sweet looking and I would like to get one.
How hard is this to learn how to use/aim?
