Just look who their target market is.
The only time their customers pick up a gun is to shoot each other, and if this keeps hapening there won't be any felons left to buy their crappy shoes.

Nike is junk anyway. Buy something else.

It's been at LEAST 10 years since they made a pair that even looked CLOSE to wearable.

I wear Converse, Pumas, and a couple other COMFORTABLE athletic type shoes.

I'm not big on gang banger/ pro sports women beating apparel.

Nike is anti everything but Nike and MONEY.

Edit-
I just went to Converse web site and custom made a pair of shoes that said "I Like Guns" on the side...it would also let me say Springfield and XD-9, etc. but NOT Glock....Converse is anti-Glock...ha ha!

New Balance because they are one of the only shoe manufacturers that still make a product in the USA.

they now also have a line that is offshored, hopefully their quality won't go the way of the others.

The shoe store guy who told me that mentioned the difference between the shoes the companies have custom built here for the athletes who sponsor them, and the ones made for a nickel in Myanmar. And the fact that some NBA players change their shoes at halftime cause the closed cell foam is trashed already. Needless to say, he doesnt' recommend sneakers, and only carries New Balance ones.

Nike is based in Oregon. Oregon, however, is fairly open on guns. To get your concealed carry permit you only need to show proof that you took a class from an NRA certified instructor. If you don't have that you can take a 2 hour class at your local sheriff's office. Pay your 65 bucks and a couple of weeks later you have your permit. So while we may be surrounded by granola eating hippy tree huggers, they are all well armed, granola eating hippy tree huggers...

Didn't mean to offend anyone here with my first statement.

5 of the 7 congress members from Oregon are Democrats.
8 of the 11 congress members from Washington are Democrats.

That means 5 of the 18 from the two combined are Republicans. Not even 1/3. On the contrary, 7 of the 9 members from my state (Alabama) are republican. So when I said typical left coast liberalism, I wasn't far off base.

And in my state, my CCW permit is $7.50 per year, and as long as you are not a felon and over the age of 21, you can get a permit. No special classes to go to. After all, this is the South, where we know how to shoot from birth! Those of y'all that are less fortunate that do not live down here wouldn't understand.

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle

I have been buying nothing but New Balance for years. I would never buy Nike products. The supreme insult was when the OSU football program dropped Wilson (made in Ohio) and went to Nike. I still can't believe it.

I'd bet it's because they have been associated with gang activity in the past. Much like the brand BK.

For me, there is only one shoe. Piloti.
I figure, if i'm gonna spend a hundred bucks on shoes, they better have nomex in them..
