Right handed, left eye dominant. I shoot with both eyes open.

Thanks for all of the responses.
I have always show with one eye closed, but I am trying to learn how to shoot with bot open. I am having a little trouble with the double vision problem. I focus primarily on the front sight, letting the target and the rear sight get a little blurry and get a double image. The stronger of the two images comes from my left eye (my dominant eye, I'm a leftie) but it takes me a few seconds to sort it all out. |

Yes the front sight should be your main focus, but one thing you can do that you'll kinda have to train yourself to do is, put the front sight on the target, then transition your vision to the target then back to the front sight before you let the shot go... atleast if your on a target of any distance... youll learn to do this almost instantly and it won't really take any actual "Time" because of how fast the eye works, but that extra little bit of vision input will help you break the shot more effectively...
