I'm sure others that are more knowledgeable will correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe you would sight it in just as using a standard scope, or sight with windage and elevation knobs.

http://www.eotech-inc.com/cust_faq.php

How do I mechanically zero my sight?

The sight has 40 MOA (Minutes Of Angle) of travel in every direction from center. This means a complete range of 80 MOA from extreme left to the extreme right range of adjustment. The same range of adjustment is true for the elevation; so 80 MOA from top to bottom.
Since each click or adjustment of the shaft moves the reticle .5 (or 1/2) an MOA, that means there are 160 clicks from extreme left to extreme right (same for top to bottom).
To rezero the sight, adjust the reticle to one end of the extreme (left or right). You will feel a sudden resistance and a limitation in your ability to move the shaft once you reach the extreme. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ADJUST THE SHAFT IN THE SAME DIRECTION. This will result in a seizure of the windage or elevation shafts, and cause the sight to be inoperable.
Once at that extreme, turn the shaft in the opposite direction 80 clicks. This will move the reticle 40 MOA back to center. Complete the same process for the elevation (top to bottom) and the sight will be re-zeroed.

No sweat omega, I'm a little envious of you buggers getting in on that sweet deal. Oh well, I guess all things work out the way they do for a reason...... that I am clearly not seeing right now!

So, have you guys had a good experience with Botac recently? I was investigating them on BBB and eopinions and they have a pretty bad ratings. II could understand 2 or 3 disgruntled customers but I read 20+ bad reviews. I really want to get in on this deal but if I have to spend time emailing and on the phone to try to get my order it's just not worth my time. Please give me some input.

Thanks,
Joe B.

Just read my posts Omega, I have bought many things and no hitch. I ordered like at 530 last night and it shipped last night!

I don't leave positive reviews. My time is more valuable than that. Take the number of bad, number of good. Divide them into two because thats the sample size. Take the number of years the survey has been held. Then take a turd and really ask yourself if you want to lose out on a deal because of someone else's opinion. Mine is in the mail. Yours could be too.

There is a lot of people in this forum that has had great service from them.

I haven't dealt with Botac as much as some around here; but I wouldn't have any misgivings about doing business with them again. They do have some very good deals from time to time.
