Life in Prison is too good for them, but the last statistic I heard about court costs stated that it costs something like 7 times more money to put them to death because of all the appeals. I would say one-strike, put them down if I trusted the system completely. I don't. The courts are run by same people who deny me the right to protect myself, so I have my doubts.

In a perfect world the parents would just get to kill the pedophile point-blank. End of story. I remember a story on Court TV where a Father just pulled a gun outside the courtroom, killed the ba$tard, and the jury let him off scott-free. I wouldn't count on that always happening though.

As far as punishment just release him into general population in prison. Cons take a very dim view on child molesters and I am quite certain that his ass will be sold for a pack of smokes about 3 times a day.

Pedophilia is difficult to cure but I think this isn't the problem here. There are pedophiles that do nothing but stay home and watch porn. Vastly, vastly wrong but not what this turd should be punished for. It is the kidnapping and (assumed at this point) rape of two other people. I think it is more offensive when it is a child but I still think I would have the same ideas on punishment if he had kidnapped Ms. Neomet.

Depending upon the details of the case, I'd go with hanging.

We ought to reserve "the rope" for the more heinous crimes.

My friends, you are seeing the end result of replacing “JUSTICE” with “LEGALITY”. We have endless “appeals” of a death sentence because a very select minority decided to question the right of the state to put hardened, violent criminals to death for the grievous harm they cause to innocent people. Under their concept, we should seek to “heal” these criminals, give them multiple chances to redeem themselves, have a “kinder, gentler” approach to them and their families. They claim we are violating the civil rights of the criminal if we use the ultimate form of punishment.

This begs the question of the rights these people violated when they committed the crime. What makes the civil rights of the victim of less value than the civil rights of the criminal? If we are to bring back the death penalty, lets do it the right way. Sentence is passed, and the verdict is carried out within 30 days. In select cases, the verdict is carried out publicly, not hidden away as though we are ashamed of the act. If I am sitting on a jury, I, for one, am not ashamed to vote the death penalty for the crime of child molestation, killing a LEO during the course of a crime, rape of an underage male or female, murder in the first degree.

Just my opinion on this topic…..and to HELL with the ACLU and their liberal chants.
