So I went to a freind's house last night and just chilled with him for a few hours. I headed home around 12:30am, and got here around 1. Could not find a parking space at my apartment for the life of me, so I waited around and finally parked outside the complex. I got inside and much to my surprise my CCW came in the mail, I was pretty happy since it has only been a week. My roomate got home at around 3:30, and I hopped in his car and showed him where I parked at. As soon as he parked behind my truck I noticed it, my rear tire was dead flat

I tried to fill it up and found the hole, looked like a nail punctured it, but was no longer there. I figured it was from my friend's house since his house was just built and the area is still under construction. So today I went down to Discount Tire to have them patch it. I waited around for about 30 minutes and they came out to get me. Much to my surprise they told me somebody shot my tire and handed me a 45 slug. I am pretty ticked off now, and waiting for PD to come, I really hate people sometimes. We shall see what happens.

Any idea when and where they would have shot it out? Think they shot it out at your friends house or while it was parked?

Good to hear you got the CCW a one week turn around time is pretty fast.

That stinks, but at least the bullet hit a relatively cheap part of the car to hit. It doesn't change facts, but a silver lining if you will... Good luck with everything...

NO KIDDING. Being a shooter's paradise is about the only good thing I can say about this place, and that's rapidly becoming less and less important as I contemplate staying here and putting up with 3000 more people cramming up the roads every month. Ugh. *pulls out map of AZ. Hmmm....*

Aequitas--did the folks at the tire place check the rim to make sure it wasn't damaged?

I would absolutely love it, but Mrs.theEldest wants to be around the grandparents for when the kiddies start coming along. I might be able to convince her it's not that far away, but you know how these things go. She's also got family in Idaho, so that's on the list too.

that's kinda scary if you think about it. The fact that someone wants to do something to a vehicle is one thing, but shooting your tire out? And did they do it because it was YOUR tire? Or just chose some random tire.

Someone recently rubbed F*** U into the frost on my hood of my vehicle while it sat in front of my apartment. I took it personal, because there's only one person here that I've had any run in with. When people turn to doing things to your vehicle, it shows they have a problem with you, and that's something I don't like. Dislike me all you want, but when you turn to damaging my stuff... or shooting out someone's tires, you take it to a whole other level.
