guns and or gun stuff for xmas (opps not PC...i mean "the holidays)

it dawned on me that night sights for my father in-law's Kimber ultra carry 2 (i think?) 45 acp would be something he actually would want and like for "the holidays" .

he never thought about it and thinks it would be cool. so, i just wondering who else is buying gun related stuff or actual guns for someone?

Nightsights are a good idea because I don't think Santa will turn on the lights when he comes down so you want to be able to line him up without alerting your presence.

Yeah - gun stuff would be neat - guns even better. Here in the Peoples Republic of New York, you can't have anyone buy a gun for you - it's a straw purchase and will yield a whole lot of trouble (unless you're Sarah Brady, then it's OK).

My family wouldn't have a clue as to what to buy me for gun stuff. I keep telling them, "GIFT CARDS TO GANDER MOUNTAIN!!!", but do they listen? Hell no! All I keep getting is more shirts and *%)&!%** SOCKS. How many feet do they think I have!?! I can only wear one set at a time - I need more gun stuff!!!!

Ah, hell - I'll just have to buy it myself......

Every year my wife and I exchange a short list of items we would like to receive for Christmas. The one rule we have is clothing is out and not allowed on the list but can be anything else.

I usually put a few gun related items on the list with web links so she knows what they are. She was telling me today I should be pretty happy with my gift. I have not purchased hers yet....doh

My wife and I very rarely exchange gifts for Christmas. We're both such frugal people we just set a designated amount we would have spent, then go buy what we want at the after-Christmas sales. It's not so exciting as being surprised, but we usually come home happy.

I asked for a Defensive Handgun training video from Thunder Ranch...which I believe I am getting.
I also asked for a MiniVault for my firearm bedside security...and I believe I am getting that.

I sent my Springfield GI 45 to Ajamesp51 to have new Ed Brown parts (safety, beavertail, slide release, mag release) and for him to desert digital camoflage it! That is the CHRISTMAS present I have been planning on completing for over a year now!
