Yes that is a good chrono.

I have a Chrony Alpha Master that i upgraded to a Gamma. a Beta would have done all I needed but the difference in price was like $10 for the upgrade. I already had the printer.

I have the Prochrono Pal and it has worked great. When you chrono, the process takes all of 10 minutes. If you run matches, you will want to get the nicer units with the printer, etc.

For the average joe, the Prochrono Pal or the F-1 Shooting Chrony are just fine, IMHO and both are less than $95.

I have the Shooting Chrony Alpha Master with the printer. I love it. easy to set up with the remote display and the printer works well for me because I shoot a bunch and don't always look at the little screen. Also the print out keeps you from having to punch buttons and look for your reading. Just tear off the reading and mark down your load data on the back of the printer paper. Works great!
