I saw most of that last night. The last segment actually addresses Zombie Survival. They featured a man named Max Brooks (a former SNL writer) who wrote a book on the subject. Here is the link to the book's website:

Yes, it is my lunch hour, and no, I do not have anything better to do.

Well, personally I think you guys are fogetting the good old basics.... I've got my broadsword that would be strapped on me as well as my XD .45 and carry my rifle for sniper duty once I found a safe place to hole up. Pick them off from the a distance to keep them away, the XD for up close and personal, and the sword for "out of ammo" + REALLY up close and personal duty!

Well, the neighbor would get a bullet as soon as I heard he was bit. I'd stake my chances on a good jeep, and an AK-47 or a Remmy 870 for each seat. Then I'd head for the hills with my bug-out-kit and my good buddy and his wife. My 1911 would stay at my side for close-up work, and ending it all if things went appreciably south... The toughest part would be keeping the dogs happy. They don't like vehicles and the german shepard is a finicky eater...

Hell no! I'd be bumpfiring my AR if they got that close, full auto will do the trick. The AR would be for picking them off before they get to me. If they got close though I have a Winchester 1300 Defender with 000 Buck that I use for home defense.

There used to be a great website called ZOMBAT, which stands for Zombie Combat. It was pretty badass, the guy had probably the coolest AK-47 I've ever seen in my life, plus a bunch of interesting zombie gear/weapons. Its not there anymore though =(

I have that book, frighteningly enough.
Get it if you want to survive the coming Zombie swarm.

As I told my kids; OK, it's really unlikely that this would ever happen, but if it DID, we'd be prepared to make it thru.
