Saw two XD's on TV Today

I was watching Self-Defense TV on the Outdoor Channel today, and Tom Gresham, the host, was shooting a service length XD of some caliber. Clint Smith, of Thunder Ranch, had a Tactical, most likely in .45ACP. It was nice to see them using some of my favorite toys.

Most of the carry guns you see ar going to be XDs, SA is one of the larger sponsors of the show.

And they changed the name after the second episode, it's now Personal Defense TV.

Actually, the name was always Personal Defense TV. The TV guide listing had it wrong, but the graphic opening on the show had the PDTV thing right.

We are finishing editing the first season, and planning the next.

Oh, today I saw the EMP and other goodies from Springfield at the NASGW show in Ft.Worth.

Mighty slick.

I must just be behind the times on TV. I'll need to check and see if I get the channel and record the show with my DVR. I watch maybe 6 hrs of TV a week if that. Don't ask how many hours on the computer....way to many.

Gotta check with the ol' provider too.

As for XDs for CCW, it turns out that is what my instructor and his mom (who owns the range and teaches the CHL course) both seem to say lots of good things about XDs for a CCW. They always seem to have a 9mm SC with them, even though the son also carries the fancy 1911s his PD uses.

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle
