I'm not from there, never been there, but that was featured on John Stossel's truth about gun control segment he did a few months back. And yes, you are correct that they have an ordinance that every home must have a gun. Crime is really low there for some reason.

Yep, that's where I saw it from. Really does make me want to move there when I retire. (I'm only 30  ) It is a very nice town with a great atmosphere.

Thanks for the welcome. Kennesaw does have a law that requires each household to have a firearm & ammo. I'm not too sure about how many households do actually have one. I lived here a year before I made my first purchase which was the XD. I guess I made the purchase based on the fact that I liked the XD not the Kennesaw statute.
