I think, and again its just IMO, they are going with their statistics here. In most accidental shootings of children, they pick it up and then pull the trigger. Most cases are probably younger kids, and most of whom cannot cycle the gun even if they knew it did cycle to begin with. If its teens or slightly younger you are talking about, then yes... they may cycle it first. In any event, I think the only safe gun is a locked up and un-loaded gun. I also believe that an unloaded gun is as useful as a paperweight, and every second will count when it comes down to it. I dont want to beat this to death, and Im not for or against this product. I just wanted people to know that its new, and out there.

After listening to the infomertial, I would never buy one just because of the BS statistics they use as a scare tactic 148,000 hits on Google!!!
I can type my name in and get almost that many hits! If they are going for the small child prevention, my guess is a snapcap would work just as well. I will see if my son can cucle my action on my 40 tomorow morning but I am guessing he can't and he is a HUGE 7 Y.O.!! Chris
