Go Tell the Spartans...about early Vietnam "advisors."

Current movies would include We Were Soldiers and Black Hawk Down.

Pretty much any Vietnam movie and/or book has some merit to it...no matter how goofball or off base.

I'm going to add Behind Enemy Lines II to my list. I just saw a preview for it and it looks AWESOME!!!

Best: Saving Private Ryan, Blackhawk Down, and of course FMJ

Worst: Beyond the Call of Duty I don't know what was more disturbing, Jan Michael Vincent trying to be butch or the fact that all of the rapidly dying VC happened to be Filipino. I guess the fact that they both have kind of yellow skin was enough for the director.

I'm surprised no one mentioned Memphis Belle...a bit hokey, the ending and all, but brought tears to my wife and kid's eyes...if women can get emotional over a war movie, then it has to be good.
