that's talking about Bill's assault weapons ban, and how it cost democrats control of congress.

Welcome! You'll get used to the mailings. Wish they'ed take a hint from the membership...

Whatever you do, DON'T JOIN THE NRA-ILA!! This is the organization that's ALWAYS asking for cash! Good times, bad times - don't matter. If they're not asking you for money while you're alive, they want you to "remember them in your will"! Almost as bad as the Democrats!

Welcome! The NRA is a worthy cause for $35.00 a year(or more). I can blow $35.00 in about two minutes at the local pub(especially when dancers are involved )

Please NRA don't send me mail asking for money.Who do you think you are. Cant you bother some other gun owner. After all the letter is so heavy then I got to open it then when I do I see you want me to help you save my gun rights. Now I have to walk over to the trash can and throw the letter away. I cant stand all this extra work from your mail.
Do it again and I'm going to not renew my membership. That will teach you for trying to help me keep my gun rights.

Sincerely Mr.pathetic

If I'm not mistaken. When some one joins the NRA the money goes to the cost of the magazine/ training /grants to shooting clubs and things like that. The way they do make there money to go to court and fight for are rights is from donations. Thats why they send out lots of mail to there members asking for donations. I have no idea what the court cost are but I'm sure it is More then anyone of us could afford. And yet their are gun owners that for this reason drop there membership.Being a member of the NRA and donating when you can is like having homeowners insurance. You don't have to have the insurance. But if your house Burns down and you don't then its just to late to do anything about it.

All you have to do is request to not get the mailings. I did it on-line and it the mailings dropped 99%.

That's ok. The rest of us 4,000,000 will pick up the slack and defend your 2nd Amendment rights.

Wouldn't want to bother you with a LETTER every now and then...

Besides, you can call the NRA and ask them to take you off of their mailing list. The letters and requests will stop, it worked for me. Now, I just have to remember to renew every so often.
