That's the key of the whole thing. Corporate policy doesn't affect the customer as much as it affects the employees. Either way, it's not a good policy and it'll affect law abiding citizens much more than it'll affect the others.

I'll have to give them a call as well.

But their goodyear fortera tripletred tires work so awesome on my explorer! Seriously, they work so awesome in snow and icey conditions it's not even funny, let alone their hydroplaning resistance! Hate to say it on this one, but I've made the switch from fire(blowout)stone, to goodyear and I can't turn back.

However if I notice a sign at my goodyear dealer when CCW goes into effect next year, I will be sure to talk with the manager about it and voice my opinion.

Maybe other Goodyear stores in the area have managers who are anal about "the rule", but since this one is cool with it, I'd continue to spend my money there to support the manager if nothing else.
The manager did say that they don't enforce it...but as the LEO said, concealed is concealed...how would they know if someone were doing it legally anyway! I am not going to tell Goodyear corporate that their manager was relaxed about it, since I don't want to get anyone in hot water...but as it appears to be a corporate decision, I want them to know that I do not appreciate that type of thinking...that though my business probably does not mean much to their bottom line...me telling all of my carrying friends may!

Meh!

Goodyear tires suck anyways.

Go buy a set of Yokoahamas or Bridgestones and forget about Goodyear.

Personal choice, I always vote with my dollars and I never hesitate to share my thoughts with the managment (or corporate). Here in SC a lot of places have signs up saying "No Weapons"....well I always have a knife in my pocket, don't feel dressed with out it...I have pointed out on several occasions that the word weapon is pretty loose ....I define a weapon as anything that is used to do harm (or prevent harm)...my cell phone can be used as a weapon, my keys, my belt....the arguments get pretty intense....some people argue with facts, some with feelings.....I am a fact kind of guy.

Actually in california you have the right to carry anywhere accept city, state, and fedral buildings. So that said I would just not say anything but yet still make my complaint to corperate.

Also Not a good year fan. I use racing tires on my tahoo, not sure the name but pricy and my import has yokos on it. You gotta think trashion not tread.

i agree with the LEO on this subject. however, the company does reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. now, with that in mind, i do NOT support Goodyear, just throwing a little something out there for the masses.

I'm actually running some Coopers on my F150 and Pirelli's on our Volvo...I just needed someone to patch a leak and rotate them...we had Goodyears on our Durango and they did not wear well at all!
