Does it have a power line hooked up to it or is it battery powered? Also, when you input the key code, does the little window plate just drop down or is it powered? Just curious.

Same here, a large safe with all my guns locked in it except for the gun I’m carrying. It sleeps with me and goes where I go. Good safe is worth it’s weight in gold, IMHO.

Question Experience w/ Fingerprint Safes

Anyone have experience with fingerprint safes like the BioBox (http://www.index-security.com/Product_N_PDFs/BioBOX.htm) or one of these BioSafs (http://www.biometricsdirect.com/fingerprintsafe.htm)? It seems like the fingerprint pad would be the fastest access in the dark, as long as they are reliable.
