Just curious if anyone is going to be watching the UFC tonight? Rich Franklin defends his title, should have a great undercard. I dont know the name, but there is a HUGE black guy on the card tonight, that may end up challenging for the Heavyweight title!

tho i follow the ufc, this one didn't interest me enough to merit going to a crowded, smoky bar/restaurant, much less paying $$. will be curious on the outcomes, tho, including kongo, if that's who you're talking about (6'4", 240#).

I'd watch it but I don't have PPV. To be honest...I'm a huge football fan...if the superbowl was on PPV, I wouldn't watch a single game. It was cool to get into UFC for a while there, but I think they're losing fans because of this. I don't pay to watch the superbowl and I'm surely not paying to watch the UFC.

Rich Franklin lost. Wasn't able to defend in the clinch. It looked really bad to be Rich, but he's definately has what it takes for a comeback.

Wow I figured he was probably going to lose. What was that guys name that he fought? Silva or something? I saw him fight Lieben and crush him...we all know Lieben is a pretty tough cookie. I think that makes 2 losses for Franklin in total...still impressive. How bad was the fight? I'm sure it'll be on youtube soon enough.

I'm surprised no one agreed with me about the whole PPV thing. Of course in order for anyone to agree, they'd have to read the post. Possibly they don't have as strong a fan-base as I assumed. Hopefully the UFC will realize that they're losing a huge market that they started to fill when they started airing some fights on cable tv.

i agree. PPV's should be saved for big, huge, blowout events. they have these things going on once per month it seems. no way am i paying $40-$50 per month to watch one semi-pro match and then a bunch of up and coming fighters.

Yeah franklin wasnt much of a fight, But Kongo was a good fight, especially because i had $50 saying he would loose, and he did!

I also won on the Fisher fight, and the Franklin fight, after Silva pummeled Leben, I knew franklin wouldnt stand up long.

Anyone see his nose after the fight? If you watch a re-run of it pay attention to Franklins nose right after the fight.

yup i watched it the last fight was one of the best imo, the franklin fight was pathetic.

the shark and flow fight was pretty good to but almost one sided.

a bunch of us get together at one guys house and split the cost normaly then he dvr's it for later also.

Sherk was awesome! that guy is a beast and and florian was tough for a little guy but i didnt like his attitude and it was a one sided fight.

damn, silva wrapped his hands around franklin's neck and just punished him with knees. i used to think franklin was one of the stronger, more powerful guys in the ufc, but can't tell from this...
