I doubt that there was enough in there to show positive on a drug test. But yes that would have been interesting for the officers and in a place that would be hard to argue with. I think that they would have to worry more about eating a few poppyseed bagels that month and failing a drug test for opiates.

there was a local LEO that found a condom in his burger. It was probably ten years ago. Probably the same urban legend mentioned here.

Pulling up to BK drive-thru....

"Yeah, I'll take a Pot-topped Whopper on a poppyseed bun. Gotta be ready for my drug test ya know..."

It really depends on the person and some other curcumstances....but it is possible to show up even if you are in the same room as someone who is smoking it.....

Well, "bub" what do you think I'm saying?

How about "green things on the burger" ?(green card - see the connection?)

Or "they're green about now"? (as in green because they're in jail?)

Or, maybe - just maybe - it's southern California, low paying menial jobs, and they target the police....

Takes a brain surgeon or rocket scientist to see a possible connection here? On, I forgot, we have to be politically correct.

If some one asked for my "green card", and I needed to show it to get a job - and I had a real one - I would have no compunction about showing it. It's the law, you understand.
