When I applied for my CCW the deputy was telling me of all the techno geeks applying for CCW permits. I used to be a System Admin / Architect and got into sales and business development. Majority of my friends are same and everyone has at least one handgun and rifle.

If you browse the posts here you'll see its not just techno-geeks...
We have chemists, pharmacists, physicians, nurses, PhDs, MBAs, attorneys, military men and women, and many many more. There are alot of well educated and well informed individuals. This is the side of gun ownership that the Anti-Gunners don't want you to see. They want you to think everyone with a handgun is a backwater inbred bucktooth moron with a neo-fascist or overzealous Christian agenda. For the most part that couldn't be farther from the truth.
