Anyone know of a sand colored kydex leg holster?

A friend of mine is in the Army and looking for one. He carries a Beretta 9mm.

Cheers

Check with Blade-Tech. They are shipping thousands over to the sandbox in desert camo for the M9.

The Safariland 6004 is a fantastic holster and comes in desert colors also.

If Bladetechs leg hoslters are as good as their IWB holsters, then they will be excellent also.

I've heard stories of the locking mech on the SERPA failing due to dirt and sand. I would be concerned about that if I was going to Iraq.

Ive heard the same, but if its anything like my safariland drop holster... it locked up bad. Then we all removed the retaining ball and spring assembly, its better than ever. Still has the spring loaded "U" shaped retaining strap over the top, also use a lanyard from Blackhawk... good for when working off small boats like I have to.

No! No! Those holsters are evil! I've heard they work well for those smart enough to know how to care for them like they do their rifles and pistols. For all others it's curtains and blinds. Bury me on the lone prairie.
