Dave. I don't know what to say. I know how much this hurts. The only thing that gets me through is celebrations on my kids birthdays because I know I'm one step closer. I dont' know how old your kids are, but they'll figure out what's going on...trust me. My daughter actually felt sorry for me when she found out how much child support I pay (now a little over $2K per month for three kids).
Fight it if you can, otherwise, you're stuck 'til the kids graduate high school. There are lots of fathers rights groups that can help out. oh yeah...pack up the guns, go to the range, and blow off steam. You'll probably feel better. |

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I've been in your situation and still am. I can't believe some of the amounts of money you guys are paying. The formula and the system is really f**ked up. They don't even give the fathers a chance to be a good dad anymore.

First of all I advise you to go back to court and get 50/50 custody, that will cut your support payments in half because sometimes dads don't know that the money is actually going for items for the children. Isn't everything already cut down 50/50? Regarding the emotionless court workers, they have guidelines to follow and all you are is a number. When the children are with you of course you will have to pay for their needs and probably cut down on your fun time but it will save you money in the long run.
