OK, we've had cigar threads. We have a coffee thread. Both of which I don't do/like. SO, it's my turn to create a thread about something I like.

And I want to hear from my XDtalk family, too.

I for one have a huge sweet tooth. I love sweets. I always have for as long as I can remember. And as I got older, this "habit" has not gone away (much to my dentist's liking)....

Anyway, since there is so much we could talk about in the category of "sweets" let's focus in on one of my favorite sweets: CANDY. Whether it be chocolate or non-chocolate, I'm all over it. I'll admit that I haven't tried everything that's out there, but I've tried enough of it to know what I truly like and what I truly hate.

I typically only eat candy when I'm sitting at the computer playing my favorite game online: Quake III Arena. It's so easy to pop a piece of candy in my mouth and munch on it while fragging away at my opponents, listening to the carnage unfold before me.... but I digress.....

I think we could break down this thing into 2 (or 4) parts:
- 1. Chocolate candy you like/love/addicted to
- 2. Non-chocolate candy you like/love/addicted to

and optionally:
- 3. Chocolate candy you dislike/hate/avoid like the plague
- 4. Non-chocolate candy you dislike/hate/avoid like the plague.

I'll start (since it's my thread).

I'm sure I'll forget some things. And I'm not going to list everything. Here we go...

1. Cadbury Cream Eggs, 3 musketeers, Snickers, Kit-Kat, Twix, anything dark chocolate...

2. Chewy Sprees, Skittles (original, berry, and the new Ice Cream flavors), any tic-tacs...

3. anything white chocolate, Ferrero Rocher (overpriced)....

4. anything sour (taste buds are too sensitive), anything coffee flavored, anything "gummy" ...

Well, there you have it. Now let's hear from others who just can't put a piece of candy down and walk away...............

I am addicted to gobstoppers and chewy sprees. But i only eat them when i am reading in bed.

Gobstoppers and Porn don't mix, be careful.

For me, Tootsie Rolls, Jelly Beans and Starbursts are my fav. I also enjoy a Charleston Chew from time to time.

I like the Sour Patch Watermelons, Starbursts, and Skittles. As far as chocolate goes, I like Take 5 bars and am a huge fan of most dark chocolate...

my true weakness is oreos + milk...

+1 On the Reese's peanut butter cups.

One of the best chocolates out are the Lindor Truffles. You should be able to pick up the assorted mix with Milk, Dark and White chocolates @ Wal-Mart for about $3.00. They are sweet, I have my mother in law hooked on them.

1. wilbur chocalate buds...f hershey's kisses. anything reese's, and cadbury eggs are the sh!t

2. anything made by haribou...i like gummy candy lots.

it's funny, though. i HATE candy like juju bees or gum drops. if it sticks to my teeth, i don't like it.

1. Have a serious weakness for dark chocolate, and combinations thereof including mint (York patties) or some fruit concoction (chocolate-covered orange or raspberry sticks)

2. Gobstoppers and SweetTarts are some of the best hard candy. Ever.

3. I'm pretty much okay with anything involving chocolate.

4. I don't like caramels and other really chewy stuff, and black (real) licorice is absolutely nauseating.

1st and foremost.. Godiva chocolate and pretty much any dark chocolate.

Starbursts and skittles.

Dove chocolate ice cream bars are my fav (i figured I could add in ice cream too)
