Exclamation SA sponsors speedboat races???

I just came across an interesting little tidbit of info while searching for "Springfield Armory" images....

Apparently, Springfield Armory was a "2005 racing sponsor" for Big Thunder Marine, a boat dealer in Gravois Mills, MO. Details here: http://www.bigthundermarine.com/extras_us2.asp This dealer won 1st place in their boat class.

Anyway.... I had no idea SA sponsored anything like this! Now I am curious as to what other types of non-gun-related things they are "into" and sponsor.

Hmmmmm.........................

I would think any type of outdoor sport. Peple that hunt and fish are into guns, boats, ATV's, motorcycles, trucks, etc etc....

If they wanted to sponsor me and give me a bunch of free XD's and 1911's to shoot (I'm thinking the Loaded Blackened Stainless, in case they actually read this) I'd be more than happy to wear a SA hat when I'm at the range. Maybe even one of their shirts too.
