Thinking of getting one in 38 days for my kids to shoot at the range. Seems like about the right size, so I'll check it out.

It is you cannot go wrong. Just make sure you try several different brands of 22lr. Get some of the 550 packs. Blast away!!!

There are lots of good .22's out there. I never have shot a sig mosquito but I know plenty about the different Ruger Mark pistols. We have some of the original Mark I's and II's, don't own any 3's yet. I know they are quite accurate shooting pistols, and a blast. I do want to say that the Marks have problems with firing pins after a while. We've had to replaced the firing pins in 3 of ours, but also keep in mind that they've been shot ALOT, lol. I just didn't want to bring in the other pistols and models because he asked specifically about the Walther, so I wanted to answer his question. I think it's a great little pistol, and is especially good for teaching a new shooter the automatic action. The Rugers function and feel quite different than most other automatic pistols will, and so that's one thing the mark pistols can't do that the walther can. I'm sure that either way you'll be pleased with your purchase and that it'll be a blast to shoot.
