I don't think that's the point of this thread. Tec is applauding Tom for keeping to his guns...

i don't think he's really complaining...i thought tec and tom agreed on alot of stuff...maybe that's akr. this thread is to express that, despite the fact that we all have different views and hold them to different extents, we can all be "good guys" (and gals?)...at least, that's how i took it.

we're all really here to learn about and talk about the xd and shooting. the political section, for me, is a way to entertain myself at work...it's fun to discuss, but it's also fun to argue. that's ok...we are all really here for one reason. shooting the xd.

I am not the best with composing words, or math for that matter, so maybe my message got a little shady. What I am trying to say is, While we may not agree with Tom's viewpoints, We should at least give Tom some credit for sticking with it under adverse conditions here on the forum.

Let me try to clarify /

While I do disagree with tom in some areas, in most other areas, i fully understand that each is entitled to his own opinion, that being said, I respect Tom for sticking to his guns in saying the things he does, (while I don't always agree with his thoughts) under such criticism. I mean, come on, a few here have blamed him for the prior removal of the political forum. He does not exactly have a cheering crowd here, but more of a jeering crowd.

Yes, there may be others here with more outlandish ideas and thoughts, but Tom is the one who gets kicked around a lot here, that I have noticed.

So, All I was saying is, While you may not agree with him or like his political beliefs or agree with his viewpoints, we can at least respect him for sticking to his guns in his thoughts and his persistence in posting them here.

This in no way is a personal attack on him nor should it be mistaken as one.

I do not agree on a lot of things with Tom, Why, because I have too many fricking other things in life to do then worry about some of the stuff he does, no disrespect. Would I sit down and drink a beer with tom, dam straight, Would I sit down an drink a beer with amishclark, only 1.) if we did it in a non-smoking bar and 2.) I was certain he didn't spike my drink. I would sit down with just about 99% of the members here, The ones I would not sit down and drink with are............
