Granted, a few here have either taken offense to the thread / notion, or have even attacked him here. To those, eh, it's a free country. Granted, there are many here who are determined in their resolve with their views and agenda. To those I say, Stick to your guns also. But I felt Tom deserved a little more recognition because everyone is always kicking him in the butt, and he keeps coming back for more, thus showing his dedication to his beliefs in politics. He could shut up, like some do, he could move on, like some do, he could throttle back a little on what he says, like some do, BUT HE DOES NOT. Hence this thread.

So, Tom, I present this award to you for:

"XD Talk Forum Member with the most illogical yet strongly entrenched beliefs who keeps on going no matter how badly he gets his axx kicked".

I don't hate tom but I do feel sorry for him. But then again I feel sorry for anyone who is so lost in their party they can no longer tell right from wrong. They are the real danger to America.

Nobody hates anyone here. No reason to. We're all just anonymous personas on an anonymous message board in cyberspace. But still, OEFM makes a good point. Anyone who is willing to blindly follow anyone else...anyone who feels that some other human being is infallible is just sadly misguided. So yeah, we can feel sorry for such people and at the same time recognize them as a threat to our system. Blind allegiance has always led to a bad end.

This has been stated by virtually every one of our greatest political thinkers. The framers of our Constitution, great presidents and great philosophers going back to ancient Rome, ancient Greece and even back to the writings in the Old Testament.

Abraham, Noah, Moses, and Adam and Eve....and forward in time to Plato and Socrates. Onward to the Roosevelts and the Kennedys. Lincoln and Ike....all of them....they all knew the same things. They all gave the same warnings. They had said thousands of years ago and as recently as today...."Don't take Tom seriously".
