If you sold the gun, I would say they provided a service to you worth something.

They take your DL and you can figure you will be paying. I would have asked then.

I figured you were going to tell us the range then tried to charge you a transfer fee or something.

Did they charge the guy that bought your H&R as well?

The transaction was not discussed or conducted at the range. All he did was test fire the weapon. Yes, he was charged a range fee also.
