I am agreeing with you. I also think a little KelTec 32 would fit the bill just right in your case. easy to get on the plane with, small ammo box, and easy to conceal in a suit or coat pocket.

until recently, i never considered this option. My traveling was limited to 2-3 day trips and i would always just go straight carry on (in 10 yrs of traveling, had 1 snafu w/ lost luggage).

With the new "no liquid" rules and much stricter security guidelines, i've checked my bag the last 2 trips. if i'm going to be checking my bags, i'm strongly considering taking a firearm. only thought is that i'd need to check 2 bags to have firearm and ammo... and that's doubling the airlines' chances to lose my stuff.

just my $.02. The death of carry on travel may be what gets me carrying when i travel.

That's kinda where I'm at. My trips are 2 to 3 day trips at the most. If I have to check one bag, why not just check two?

Smile Depends

Depends on where you have to travel. If going to New Orleans, it would be a good idea to take along a gun. If traveling to Provo, Utah it wouldn't seem worth the bother. In either case, being alert and careful is the most important factor. Stay Safe!

I don't think you meant it this way, but it totally sounds like you're saying that the KelTec would be easy to sneak on the plane...
