Why you should take death threats seriously

Recently, in cheyenne wyoming there was a murder, and attempted suicide. Turns out my brother use to work with this guy, and I knew him too. He moved to cheyenne with his new wife for a new start. Now, I don't know anything other than what I've heard, which you know isn't always 100 % of the story. Anyway apparently she had cheated on him, and he had told her,and others if he ever found out she cheated on him, he'd kill her. Well, I guess he found out she cheated, and at like 1:12pm I believe, she called the cops and said get here because he's going to shoot me. they arrived at like 1:15, and she was dead and he laid there severely wounded from a failed suicide attempt.

Never, ever take death threats lightly, even if they come from someone you love or trust. While I don't agree with cheating, it doesn't give someone the right to murder a person.

I never understood that. Are there men out there so insecure that they think that it's the end of the world when a women cheats on them? Better finding out and ditching them early than never finding out at all and being the clown. All that guy did was prove why she did it in the first place, he was a weak, stupid, and a b*tch.

just my 2 cents. good thing they didn't have kids, he probably would have shot them too.

I generally don't believe anything that someone tells me they heard from someone else...

No offense personally, just something I've learned in my lifetime.

Including this place? What if you are all just the extensions of an evil genius posting as multiple people to draw me into his psychotic world? Is this forum simply a playground for Kermee's malevolent psyche? What if there is no such person as the Knight of Light? (Insert Howard Dean scream here). Woops, gotta go.......Dr. Phil is sending me secret messages through the tv again, and I've got some photos to doctor for Reuters before their deadline.
(Just so you know, I'm not razzing you, Alpha. I think it's undeniable that much of the news is manipulated and "spun" these days, if not being fabricated outright.)

I do think there is a time and a place to take somebody seriously when they say they're going to kill you--like if you're screwing a guy's wife without his knowledge. There are some things that, for whatever reason, absolutely push some people over the edge. Granted, they may have been unstable or had other issues beforehand, but stuff happens when you interject yourself into the unpleasant domestic situation that made somebody willing to go outside their marriage in the first place.

Thumbs up

This just points out the respect I have for LEO's that have to come into a situation like this and make the right decision. Not trying to suck up to anyone (I have a couple lifelong retired leo friends) but it could've been so much different if the guy hadn't tried suicide and wanted to take out more. Not trying to be insensitive but what a situation to come into!! I try to take lessons from the decision process those LEO'S have to go thru and, to me, the toughest part of carrying is that instant you have to decide to pull the trigger for your own safety. And they do it almost on a daily basis. KODO'S

This isn't something someone said someone else "heard". My brother knew both of them, and had known he said that he'd kill her if he ever caught her cheating. My brother didn't know if she had cheated, but he knew about their relationship and their fights they'd have about him suspecting her cheating. So, it's not something someone heard from someone else.. it was heard first hand by my brother.

And also, on the comment of me saying I don't know anything other than what I've heard. that's meant to mean that I don't know exactly how he found she was cheating, or what exactly each persons side of the story would have been. All I've heard about that day is he found out she cheated, and killed her. But I don't know what each person did to eachother in the relationship that lead up to this. Was he a jerk and made her want to cheat? I don't know for sure. So that's what that comment was suppose to mean. I don't have first hand experience with them, my brother and his friends do so they just tell what Will (the guy who did this) has said in the past. And he may not be telling of how he was an a$$ or something and made her cheat.
