I know it's good for the Gun Manufacturers, but damn.... like it's been said, grabbing ammo is harder and harder = IF you don't want to pay a premium. 
On one of Chris Rock's stand up gigs (years ago), he said something very profound.

Tell me about it! I found one box of Winchester .30-30 at Walmart yesterday and it was 25 bucks! Ten dollars over what it was a month or so ago....

Feeling ya pain. Hunting season is over and its normally time to start up with pistol shooting. But instead I'll be sitting on my stockpile until this thing levels out. It's impossible to even find any .22lr.

I got three for 16.50 the about two weeks. Picked up two more Sunday for 19.97. I walked up as the guy was stocking the new boxes. And I got the last two boxes. That is how quick it is going around here.

i hear ya, hit 3 different stores, shelves empty, except shotgun ammo, at this rate ill be shooting my shotgun more than any other thing i own.

Saw 30-30 in a LGS today along with plenty of 22 ammo. Didn't check on the 30-30 but 40 cal was 18.00 a box and 9mm was 12.00 a box and 45 was 21.00 a box. But this place usually stocks a lot of ammo. Picked me up a XDM 3.8 40C there today, was there last one.

I have a decent stock of all my calibers except 22lr. I usually just buy a box of remington 525 pack when I get low. Well now I'm out and can't find any anywhere it's ridiculous

Stopped by Adventure Outdoors after work today just for fun. Noticed that they had a couple large pallets of .45 Auto and were selling 1000rd boxes at exactly 0% discount compared to 50rd boxes. When I asked why no discount for buying in bulk the nice guy behind the counter gave me a simple answer, "Cause we never have or need to, it'll sell." Guess I cant blame them but I politely passed. Just figured this went nicely in the Glad when it's over thread.
