I used Groupon for my CCW class as well. It seems like they had an offer for a CCW class about every other week here in the Des Moines area. I sent them a message about why I am no longer going to be using their service. It's too bad because they had a lot of great deals on dining and rounds of golf.

We had purchased a groupon for a ccw class locally. However they oversold um so when trying to sched a date (bought in dec) they were booking classes in june. Wasnt going to wait 6 mo so we ate the 85 bucks n booked a class for this saturday at another place. Have bedn trying since last month to get them (groupon) to respond and or get refund from them/club. So far they have not even emailed us back with any info.

They can suck on a fat one as far as Im concerned Ill never use um again n my wife was a big grouponer.

Used groupon once for some security cameras and thought it was cool to see a deal on a CCW class that I sent on to some family recently. I'll be cancelling my account now also.


Edit: Email support@groupon.com to cancel your account, they don't give you an easy way to do it through the website.

They contacted me to interview with their design lead for a product designer position a few months ago. So glad that didn't work out. They wanted me to move to Chicago or Palo Alto. They wouldn't allow me to work remotely so conversation pretty much ended right there.
