Any skydivers around?

Nearly 7 years ago back in the summer of 06 I did a tandem jump; my first ever experience with skydiving and I was hooked. Also FYI if you are on a mobile device you will not be able to view any of the videos in this thread. Youtube has disabled it due to copyright reasons on the music included in the videos, and you must be on a regular computer or laptop.

A few weeks later in the fall of 06 I decided to start my certification process for my A license and completed Level 1 (there are 8 levels in the AFF course). I was in college at the time, and unfortunately funding the expensive hobby became an issue so I had to stop.

Well I'm very happy to say I'm finally back at it again, and it feels good to be back in the skies. I completed my Level 1 (again), and went ahead and did Level 2 yesterday as well. I'm jumping from the Palatka Dropzone in Palatka, FL and if there are any others in the area that jump speak up. This is my video footage from my jumps yesterday.

*Update*
I completed my AFF course, and I'm now on solo status and almost done with my A progression card to get my A license. Here are some other videos through my AFF, and a couple fun jumps after getting solo status.

AFF Level 3 (can't view on mobile)

Windtunnel practicing my turns for AFF levels 6 and 7. (can't view on mobile)

AFF Level 6 (can't view on mobile)

Coach jump for docking and tracking.

I made a few skydives waaaaaaaaaaay back in the late 70's early 80's when I lived in Southern California. I knew quite a few of the original Base Jumpers, it was just getting started, and viewed a bunch of Norm Kent's first skydiving footage including the first documented base jump from Yosemite's El Capitan. Paris Vy skydiving was the greatest. Enjoy.

Thanks for the link. The skydive with the falcon clip was incredible.

Have went twice once in Key West, FLorida and once in Hawaii. My jumps while in the Q-COURSE for special forces were much less pleasing once landing in some trees and had a buddy land in the parking lot of a burger king on Fort Bragg..

Sky diving is for sissies

Until you've stepped into complete darkness at 800' with 68 lbs of chute and 90 lbs of equipment, you just havn't lived.

LMAO Oh the stories some of us could tell. We did a hollywood Blackhawk chopper blast. Jumpmaster lost his balance and bumped the helmet of the guy next to me and he jumped... They found him about an hour later about 5 miles from the DZ
