well I took my XD45 in there one night after class. I just showed them my military ID and they let me go right in and hammer away. Now Wombatman were by chance the deputy who pulled a white truck over for the driver peeing on the side of a dirt road around midnight a while ago?

watch the bullet hole's math. our first time there, it seemed really high. turns out the woman working the register either charged us double for our time (meaning 2 people, on one lane, for 2 hours, and either charged us for 4 hours, or two lanes of 2 people for 2 hours)...or charged us 10x more per target ($2.50 instead of .25 cents).

You've noticed that too? One time I will go by myself, I will be there maybe 30 mins and it will cost me $8 with targets. Then I will go with my gf and be there maybe 45 mins and it will be close to $30! Next time I go, I am definitely going to start asking. The way I see it is if you have 2 people on one lane, you shouldn't get charged double. To me it's like if you are there 30 mins, they charge for an hour a piece. I have to go there tomorrow to look for something, so the one younger kid I just bought my gun from, I will ask him about it. he's about the only one who seems like he's cool and wants to help me.

A long time ago I pulled up on a truck parked on a dirt road where one of the occupants claimed to have lost a purse while going to the bathroom.

I ended up arresting the driver for DUI, and his girlfriend ended up going to jail as well for Obstruction because she couldn't follow my partner's instructions to stay in the vehicle while we were conducting field sobriety tests. The funniest thing I remember about that stop was the front passenger dropping something that made a big *THUD* I asked what that was and he held up a Mardi Gras style bead necklace. I said "Nice try, what made the thud?" He then sheepishly handed over the half-full bottle of Crown Royal.

Please tell me you're referencing a different peeing truck stop. That group was none too bright.

Their lane time rates are "per person, per half hour" which I think is total BS. It's the same cost if you took up two of their lanes, one apiece. It should be charged per lane. It's robbery to charge so much for using up no more of their resources. That's whay I don't go there very often.

even with the per person per lane charge, they totally screwed us that first time. so the next trip in we complained, but since we didn't have the receipt (which was my credit card receipt with nothing itemized anyways) we got jack for a refund.

I like their range. i don't like all their practices.

yeah the one i was referring to was 4 kids 1 being myself getting stopped for peeing on the bridge on fairview road and there were no arrests and no tickets just a long time pulled over partly because we left some spent AR rounds in the door and the deputy saw them and was really worried as well he should be.
