I got sock of the NRA just sending stuff, and expecting payment when it wasn't sent back on their schedule

They lost me when they were ready to send our 1st amendment freedoms down the river.

my two cents for what it's worth: the NRA is not perfect, as a NRA certified instructor and RSO I have learned that they are just as bureaucratic and arduous to deal with as any gubermint. But as gun owners, they are all we got, at least on a large national stage. As a Canadian living in your country, I fear we are on the brink of tumbling over a cliff to gun control, just like I already cried about in my home country. In fact, I fear the fall could be worse eventually then it was in Canada.

So yea, signup. Like the OP said it is not much money. Heck you can take advantage of this offer from Bass Pro and let that chain reward you for joining. Some argue that is not supporting fully, but I think a member count is what the NRA needs no matter what we actually pay. Plus I assume the NRA gets what they wanted from Bass Pro. The chain does it to bring in business - heck last time I used that card I bought way more then the $25, and I plan to do same when next one arrives in mail soon
