More to the point, if a would be mass killer, who isn't going to obey the laws anyway, had a pocketful of 10 round magazines, would it really make much difference compared to one 30 rounder? Two mag changes takes what, five seconds total?

The liberal politicians will always attempt to make use of a tragedy while it is still fresh in the news. Luckily lately cooler heads have prevailed. Gun owners have to be involved in their communities all the time.

It is if you work the percentages. Even if we assume the shooter brings extra mags, time spent reloading is time off the trigger and opportunity to gain tactical advantage (or run the eff away!).[/devil's advocate]

That cops should be restricted in what they can carry and own for work, not regular people. Cops should not have full auto, and have less need for +10 rd magazines then we do (they do need that btw, I'm saying LESS need)
I don't understand LEO only equipment why on earth do they get special equipment? They have no need for it. I can't think of a single thing they need that IMO shouldn't be legal for everyone else.
